2 Corinthians 1:12 “Now this is our boast: Our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially in our relations with you, with integrity and godly sincerity. We have done so relying not on worldly wisdom, but on God’s grace.”
Paul begins by saying he was is part of this world, but not in the sense of which he partakes of the world’s godlessness. That being said, he goes on to boast in the Lord that he has been able to act in God’s grace, having godly relationships with the church of Corinth and displaying a sincere Christian walk and wisdom.

First of all, it would be a brave act for me to boast in any of this, because God is still working on these areas for me. Sometimes I am sucked into the world, but thankfully through God’s grace I can be set apart from it. Seeking God’s wisdom I hope to not follow what society is leaning on, but instead recognizing what lifestyle will be honoring to Christ. The world says that wisdom is doing well in school, making a name for yourself, climbing the social ladder, making enough money to buy your dream home…etc.
